Food Service Waivers
The documents below are the State and FNS approval of the request for Ayaprun School in Lower Kuskokwim School District in Newtok, Alaska to waive congregate meal service and mealtime requirements, and allow meal pattern flexibility due to building damage caused by a fire and pipe bursts. Under this waiver approval, Ayaprun School may serve National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program (SBP) meals in a non-congregate setting and adjust the time of meal service. Additionally, an exception to the milk requirement is approved.
