Elitnauvsiaq Afterschool Program starts Monday!

Dear Families and Students: 

We are thrilled to announce that Newtok Ayaprun School has been selected to receive the 21st Century Community Learning Center grant! 

This is a 5-year grant that will fund an afterschool program (Elitnauvsiaq) for all our students. Because it is a federal grant, we must follow specific guidelines:

• Elitnauvsiaq Afterschool Program will run Monday-Thursday, from 4-6pm.
• We will provide snacks for all participating students.
• Students will need to be registered for the program.
• The first hour (4-5pm) will be academic support, including homework help.
• The second hour (5-6pm) will be "fun" enrichment activities.
• Students must attend the first hour in order to be able to participate in the second.

Elitnauvsiaq will start Monday, August 31, and offer three separate activity groups: K-2, 3-6, and 7-12.
